First meeting of the not-yet-named Council on Dec. 5, 2015 in NYC

First meeting of the not-yet-named Council on Dec. 5, 2015 in NYC

We are now forming state and city Council chapters. Chapters are encouraged to organize on specific issue areas that further the decarceration of women and girls including: voter registration/Vote4Me/felony disenfranchisement; litigation and/or legislation specific to their city/state; and clemency, pardons and parole.

The Council is committed to supporting and including the organizing work of our sister organizations throughout the country as we build our movement to end the incarceration of women and girls.
